SUMMARY
The City Council will consider authorizing the attendance of any Council Member who wishes to
attend AIPAC's Annual Hispanic Outreach Summit in Austin, TX on August 9-11, 2019.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance, at City expense, of any Council
Member interested in attending AIPAC's Annual Hispanic Outreach Summit in Austin, TX on
August 9-11, 2019.
ANALYSIS
The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution No. 2005-
47, requires prior City Council approval for out-of-state travel beyond an adjacent state. Funding
for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget.
