SUBJECT: CONSIDERATION TO CANCEL THE JULY 28 AND AUGUST 11, 2020,
CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
SUMMARY
On December 10, 2019, the City Council approved the 2020 Meetings Schedule and cancelled
the second meeting in August for summer break. At this time, the City Council will consider the
cancellation of the July 28, and August 11, 2020, City Council meeting due to a lack of quorum.
The City Council maintains the ability to adjust other meeting dates and will schedule a regular
City Council meeting on August 25, 2020.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council cancel the July 28 and August 11, 2020, City Council meeting due to lack
of quorum.

SUBJECT: 2020 CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS SCHEDULE
SUMMARY
City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Historically, the City Council has cancelled the second meetings in August (summer break),
November (Thanksgiving), and December (Christmas). The proposed meeting schedule for the
2020 calendar year is attached. Adopting a meeting schedule will give the City Council, staff,
and the community the ability to plan their schedules accordingly. The City Council maintains
the ability to adjust, cancel, and/or add other meetings dates, as deemed appropriate.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt a .City Council meeting schedule for the 2020
calendar year.
