SUMMARY
This item is presented to the City Council at the request of Mayor Sandra Armenta. She would
like to discuss partnering up with contract cities to donate funds to increase the County's reward
for the capture of the individual involved with the recent deputy shooting.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff is seeking further direction from the City Council.

Thankfully, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors authorized a $100,000
Palmdale, CA 93550-4798 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman.

of Palmdale in donating$10,000 to increase the County reward. If all 42 of us were
