2. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Approval of Minutes
Recommendation: That the Parks Commission approve the regular meeting minutes of December 1, 2020.
3. MATTERS FROM STAFF
A. Rosemead Walking Trail
At the January 26, 2021, City Council Meeting, the City Council discussed the recently completed
replacement of the Rosemead Park Walking Trail. The City Council was responding to a petition filed at the
City of Rosemead. After discussion, the City Council directed staff to provide two potential alternatives to the
newly installed surfacing and to provide cost estimates for the alternatives. The City Council directed staff to
bring the options to the Park’s Commission and for the Park’s Commission to make a recommendation to
the City Council for discussion at a later date.
Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Parks Commission discuss this report and make a
recommendation to the City Council.
B. Dog Park Update
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks & Recreation will provide an update on the Dog Park at Garvey Park.
C. Monthly Parks & Recreation Department Review
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks & Recreation will review a monthly report from the Department.
