SUBJECT: DISCUSSION OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
SUMMARY
Due to the current effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on public events, the Beautification
Commission will discuss possible volunteer opportunities and projects for the community to
participate in.
DISCUSSION
As new guidelines are being released for reopening and Stay at Home orders are updated,
in-person events continue to be restricted and limited. The Beautification Commission will
brainstorm volunteer opportunities that help beautify Rosemead while keeping in mind safety
protocols in place to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
That the Beautification Commission discuss and provide feedback regarding possible
community projects.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact for this item.
