investigate and/or schedule certain matters for
consideration at a future Commission meeting.

A. Approval of Minutes
Recommendation: That the Parks Commission approve the regular meeting minutes of October 5, 2021.
3. MATTERS FROM STAFF
A. Rosemead Walking Trail Sub-Committee Appointment
At the October 26, 2021, City Council Meeting, the City Council approved the formation of a Walking Trail
Subcommittee. The subcommittee will consist of City staff, two (2) Councilmembers, and one (1) member of
the Parks Commission. The close collaboration between staff and an appointed subcommittee will assist the
City in evaluating possible options for the Walking Trail that was completed in December 2020, and further
reviewing Staff recommended options to improve the Walking Trail developed in response to a January 12,
2021, community petition, as presented at the April 27, 2021, City Council Meeting.
B. Monthly Parks & Recreation Department Review
Tom Boecking, Director of Parks & Recreation will review a monthly report from the Department.
