SUMMARY
The City Council will consider authorizing the attendance of any Council Member who wishes to
attend the NALEO 39th Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois, on June 23 — June 25, 2022.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance and finance of any Council
Member that wishes to attend the NALEO 39th Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois, on June
23 — June 25, 2022.
ANALYSIS
The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution No. 2005-
47, requires prior City Council approval for out-of-state travel beyond an adjacent state. Funding
for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget FY 2021-22.
