SUBJECT: CONSIDERATION TO CANCEL THE MAY 24, 2022, CITY COUNCIL
MEETING AND SCHEDULE A SPECIAL MEETING MAY 31, 2022
SUMMARY
The mayor and two Council Members will be attending the International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC) in Las Vegas, Nevada, from May 22 to 24, 2022. The next regular City Council
meeting is scheduled for May 24, the same day the mayor and two council members are due back
from the conference. Since most Council Members will be traveling that day, the City Council
will consider the cancellation of the May 24, 2022, City Council meeting due to lack of quorum.
In addition, staff would like to schedule a special meeting on May 31, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. instead.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council cancel the May 24, 2022, City Council meeting and schedule a special
City Council meeting on May 31, 2022.
