SUBJECT: AIPAC's 2022 OUTREACH SUMMER LEADERSHIP RETREAT,
AUGUST 26-28,2022 – EL PASO, TX
SUMMARY
The City Council will consider authorizing the attendance of any Council Member who wishes to
attend the AIPAC 2022 Outreach Summer Leadership Retreat, August 26-28, 2022 in
El Paso, Texas.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance, at City expense, of any Council
Member interested in attending AIPAC 2022 Outreach Summer Leadership Retreat,
August 26-28, 2022 – El Paso, Texas.
ANALYSIS
The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution
No. 2005-47, requires City Council approval for out-of-state travel beyond an adjacent state.
Funding for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget.

Friday, August 26, at 6:00 p.m. through Sunday, August 28 at 11:30
a. m.

REGISTER
Registration:
The registration deadline for the retreat is Friday, July 5,
2022. However, space is extremely limited and available on a first-
come, first -serve basis. Registration is complete upon payment and
submission of itinerary/receipt to Al PAC. This invitation is non-
transferrable.
AIPAC will cover expenses up to $350. You will be expected to
book your own flights promptly to maximize the subsidy amount.
When your travel is booked please send a copy of your
itinerary/receipt to Patricio Abramzon (pabramzonO-aipac.org) or
Pilar Candia (pcandiaO-aipac.org) to receive the subsidy
reimbursement. Please allow 4-6 weeks after the retreat for
subsidy checks to be mailed.
