Pursuant to Assembly Bill 361
Members of the City Council and Commission may teleconference into the meeting without noticing
each teleconference location from which a member is participating in a public meeting.
Brown Act
Pursuant to provisions of the Brown Act, no action may be taken on a matter unless it is listed on the
agenda, or unless certain emergency or special circumstances exist. The City Council may direct staff to
investigate and/or schedule certain matters for consideration at a future City Council meeting.

will be recorded in the official record of the City.
2.MATTERS FROM MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
A.Interviews and Appointments to the Public Safety Commission; Appointments to
the Beautification Commission, Parks Commission, Planning Commission and
Traffic Commission
Recommendation: That the City Council take the following actions:
1.Conduct interviews and consider appointments to the Public Safety
Commission for two positions to serve a two-year term beginning
July 1, 2022, ending June 30, 2024; and for three positions to the Public Safety
Commission to serve a term beginning July 1, 2022, ending June 30, 2023.
2.Consider appointments (based off interviews conducted 7/13/22) to the
Beautification Commission, Parks Commission, Planning Commission and
Traffic Commission for two positions to serve a two-year term beginning
July 1, 2022, ending June 30, 2024.
3.Consider an appointment (based off interviews conducted 7/13/22) to the
Parks Commission for one position to serve a partial term beginning
July 1, 2022, ending June 30, 2023.
3.ADJOURNMENT
The next regular City Council meeting is scheduled to take place on July 26, 2022,
at 7:00 p.m. in the Rosemead City Hall Council Chamber.
