•Pavement cold mill and overlay, full depth
reconstruction, City entry monuments,
center medians, crosswalks, evaluation of
bike lanes.
•$5.5M Budget –Special Revenue Funds
•RFP for Design Services will be issued in
October 2022.
•Construction scheduled for Fall of 2023

Walnut Grove Ave
Valley Blvd
Rosemead Blvd and I-10 Freeway Ramp Improvements
•Reconfiguring geometric alignment, adding and widening
lanes, and modifying and upgrading the traffic signal at
Rosemead Boulevard and Glendon Way
•$6M Budget –Measure R Highway Capital Grant
•Staff has issued the RFP and identified a qualified
consultant.
•Award of Agreement presented to City Council in
November 2022.

Rosemead Park Restroom Renovation
•Upgrade interior with anti-graffiti/vandalism surfaces,
and improved fixtures, ventilation, lighting and access.
•$350K Budget –CDBG Funds
•Construction Bid was advertised in September 2022.
•Construction is scheduled to begin by January 2023.

Sidewalk Gap Closure –Delta Ave
•Concrete sidewalk and curb ramps, colored concrete
crosswalks, parkway trees, restoration of damaged
driveways, curb & gutter.
•$1.2M Budget –HSIP Grant and Measure R Funds
•Construction Bid advertised in September 2022.
•Construction is scheduled to begin by February 2023.

improve efficiency and water savings.
•Leveling ball fields at parks and the sports complex.
•Aerating and seeding park landscaping.

•Maintenance of non-operational traffic
safety devices.
•Evaluation of an improved street sweeping schedule.
•Preparing for upcoming community events.
