Entire Contract Bid Forms section shall be submitted as Bidder’s Proposal. Addendum 2 revises certain Project Plans. See Attachment A – Revised Project Plans per Addendum 2. The revisions per Addendum 2 are shown as revision clouds on these revised plans. Addendum 2 provides the final Bid Set of the Project Plans. See Attachment B – Final Project Plans per Addendum 2. The revision per Addenda 1 and 2 are shown as revision clouds on these revised plans. Addendum 2 replaces the Federal Prevailing Wage Rates that was included in the Bid package. The attached Federal Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract. Please See Attachment C – Federal Prevailing Wage Decision CA 20220022 (dated 10/14/2022) per Addendum 2. Addendum 2 provides clarification for CDBG Project Bid Compliance requirements. As stated in the Bid package on page 342, Exhibit 6 to Exhibit 17 shall be submitted with your bid to be considered responsive. The documents that the CDBG consultant passed out at the Pre-bid meeting were only references for discussion at the meeting. They were not to be use for submittal. For your convenience, Exhibit 6 to Exhibit 17 are included here as an attachment with this Addendum No. 2. See Attachment D – Exhibit 6 to Exhibit 17. Addendum 2 provides responses to the following questions received: Question 1: Plan called Stainless Steel Partitions with Powder Coated Finish; however, Spec. Section 10160 called Sold Plastic (HDPE) Partitions – There is Discrepancy on the Spec Specified Hinges for Solid Plastic Partitions (not available). Please clarify the Stall Partitions and Urinal Partitions material kind & type. Response 1: Sheet A1.0 Proposed Floor Plan amended keynotes 12 & 14 to refer to specification section 10160. Question 2: Accent Band per 11/A2.0 was not showing on the elevation plans on A4.0. Please revise it. Addendum 2, Page 2 of 2 Response 2: Interior elevations on sheet A4.0 updated to show black tile band at 42” A.F.F. Please refer to 1/A4.0 for clouded note call out of band to refer to detail 11/A2.0 Question 3: Please Confirm that (E) Storage is NIC on A1.0. No scopes at the Storage – No Concrete Slab, No Tiles, No Finishes. Response 3: NIC has been removed from B/A1.0. The electrical panel for the project is in the room adjacent to the restroom as reviewed and discussed during the job walk. Please refer to Electrical drawings for more information. Any damage to the existing floor or wall from the electrical panel to provide electrical power to the restroom will need to be patched and repaired with like materials. The custodian closet has no finishes or drywall. No concrete slab, tiles, paint, or any other finishes need to be provided for the custodian closet (STG. Per sheet A1.0). Patch and repair any damaged occurred to adjacent areas during the renovation of the restrooms as required. Question 4: Is the (N) 6” Wall between Men’s & Women’ Restroom a Bearing Wall or Partition Wall upto the (E) Ceiling Height? What is the current ceiling height? No insulation required in the (N) wall per 15/A2.0? Please confirm and advise. Response 4: The new 6” wall between the two restrooms is a Non‐Load Bearing wall. The roof joist run parallel to the wall at 24 inches O.C. There is an existing framing member (non‐structural wood joist between adjacent structural roof joist), directly over the existing wall to be demolished. Carefully remove the existing wall from the above wood framing member and protect wood framing member in‐place. The non‐structural framing member will be used to support the non‐loadbearing wall. The current ceiling height is roughly 12 feet, but to be verified in field. No insultation required in the (N) wall. Question 5: Appendix 1 calls for the metal gate to be 1/8" thick but the detail in A5.0 calls for 1/4". Can you please tell me which one is correct? Also, what is the thickness and material of the kick plate and the plate along the gate handle? Response 5: Please refer to sheet A5.0 for gate and support sizes. Sizes for the steel members varies. The gate portion frame is to be welded steel 2” x 2” x ¼” with 1” x 1” x 3/8” steel pickets welded to the frame.
