SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 27, 2023
The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Dang at 5:31 p.m.,
in the Rosemead City Council Chamber located at 8838 East Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California.
PRESENT: Mayor Dang, Council Members Armenta, and Low
ABSENT: Mayor Pro Tem Ly and Council Member Clark
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Kim, City Attorney Richman, and City Clerk Hernandez
1. CLOSED SESSION
A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS - Pursuant to Government Code
Section 54957.6
AGENCY DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION: City Manager Kim, Assistant City
Manager Bruckner, Finance Director Chua; and Katy Suttorp from Burke, Williams
and Sorensen, LLP
EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION- Rosemead Employee Association
City Attorney Richman stated the City Council would go into Closed Session to
discuss one item and would report on any action taken.
Mayor Dang recessed to Closed Session at 5:32 p.m. and reconvened back at
7:03 p.m. He announced that the City Council would return to Closed Session after
the adjournment of the regular City Council meeting to conclude their discussion.
The City Council reconvened back to Closed Session at 10:33 p.m.
City Attorney Richman reported there were no reportable actions taken in Closed
Session.
2. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 11:30 p.m.
