CC - Item 5F - Approval of Tract Map No. 83705 for 8601 Mission DriveROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL STAFF REPORT TO: THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL h FROM: BEN KIM, CITY MANAGER v DATE: NOVEMBER 14, 2023 SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF TRACT MAP NO. 83705 FOR 8601 MISSION DRIVE SUMMARY The proposed Tract Map No. 83705 related to the subdivision and development at 8601 Mission Drive has been prepared in accordance with the approved tentative tract map and is being submitted for approval. ANALYSIS On January 10, 2023, the Rosemead City Council approved Tentative Tract Map No. 83705 subject to Conditions of Approval that required the subdivider to construct 37 residential units along with various public improvements. The approval of Tract Map No. 83705 and its subsequent recordation will allow the owner to meet the project's tentative tract map requirements. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the City Council approve Tract Map No. 83705 and direct the City Clerk to arrange for the recordation of the map. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS A Mitigated Negative Declaration was previously adopted for this project (State Clearing House No. 2022110230). No further environmental review is required under the California Environmental Quality Act. Mitigations have been incorporated as conditions of approval on the project.
