Rosemead SAO Deputies followed up on a robbery that occurred on June 51b at Jim's Burgers
located at 8749 Valley Boulevard. Rosemead SAO Deputies contacted several individuals who
associate with the suspect in an effort to find his whereabouts. SAO Deputies received intel of
the suspect's (shown below) possible location and conducted multiple patrol checks.

Rosemead SAO Deputies assisted in a multi search warrant operation with all Temple Station
SAO Teams, Gang Unit, Homicide, and Special Enforcement Bureau. The operation consisted
of six search warrants to be served simultaneously for several suspects related to a crime that
could not be disclosed pending a continuous investigation. The suspects in the search warrant
have several ties to crimes committed in the city of Rosemead.
During the operation, several individuals were arrested for drug and firearm related charges.

On June 51b Rosemead SAO Deputies were notified at 4 AM of an unknown suspect wanted for
kidnapping, burglary and grand theft that began in the city of South El Monte and ended in the
city of Rosemead after a pursuit. The suspect barricaded himself inside a motel room at DBA
Royale Inn. Rosemead SAO Deputies responded after being notified to assist in apprehending
the suspect.
After waiting several hours for the suspect to exit the room, Rosemead SAO Deputies
conducted a under cover surveillance operation at the motel. Rosemead patrol units left the
motel as the Rosemead SAO deputies entered in an under -cover vehicle.
Under cover Rosemead SAO deputies observed the suspect leave after noticing the patrol units
left the location. The undercover deputies were able to get a good identification of the suspect
and notified detectives. The investigation is ongoing.

Rosemead SAO Deputies along with Major Crimes Bureau are working on an upcoming retail
theft operation which will also include a bait package consisting of an iPad and cell phone
during the operation.

SAO team members adjust schedules to work daytime and evening operations based on crime trends.
SAO team members review crime reports (SH -R-49) to identify the latest crime trends for the city of
Rosemead.

SAO team members conducted numerous, ongoing patrol checks throughout the city actively seeking
and deterring criminal/criminals activities.
SAO team members assisted code enforcement with aiding homeless individuals throughout the city
by offering information on shelter services and other outreach programs.
SAO team members continuously moved the decoy police vehicle throughout the city of Rosemead.
The decoy police vehicle has been strategically placed at various business locations throughout the
city to help deter crime.
The decoy police vehicle continues to help prevent overnight commercial burglaries. The vehicle has
been strategically placed in areas where crime trends are occurring.

Rosemead SAO Deputies provided security at the Taiwan Center located at 3001 Walnut Grove
Avenue in the city of Rosemead after threats were made.

Rosemead SAO Deputies continue to conduct patrol checks near Grand Avenue and Ivar Avenue in
the city of Rosemead. Several citations and arrests are continuously being done.

Rosemead SAO deputies have been conducted patrol checks at Earle Avenue/Grand Avenue and
noticed an abandoned encampment near business 5045 Earle Avenue. The City of Rosemead was
contacted regarding the matter and within a twenty -four-hour period, the City of Rosemead along
with LACADA were able to make contact with the individual who claimed that encampment.
Resources were offered to the individual and given a seventy -two-hour period to vacate the area. The
individual vacated the area within the given time.
