This report serves as a summary of crime prevention and emergency preparedness programs and
activities conducted in July2024 along with planned programs for August 2024.
JULY 2024 — PLANNED ACTIVITIES
1 Preparing CERT members work assignment for the 4th Parade and Carnival First Aid Booth
1 Weekly Monday Night HAM radio check-in (frequency channel 146.445) at 6:30 p.m.
3 Recovery Transition Meeting, DR -4882 (COVID-19) with FEMA and CalOES
representatives and City Staff at 1:30 — 2:30 p.m.
4 Monthly City of Rosemead Emergency Communication Team (CoRECT) Ham Meeting at
the Public Safety Center, 8301 Garvey Avenue @ 6:30 p.m. (rescheduled due to July 4th)
8 Weekly Monday Night HAM radio check-in (frequency channel 146.445) at 6:30 p.m.
10 Pre -Planning Meeting with Public Works staff regarding January/February 2024 Rainstorm
11 Monthly Area D Meeting at Glendora Library at 8:30 a.m.
11 Monthly City of Rosemead Emergency Communication Team (CoRECT) Ham Meeting at
the Public Safety Center, 8301 Garvey Avenue @ 6:30 p.m.

16 Recovery Scoping Meeting at Public Safety EO C, 8301 Garvey Avenue at 10 am with
CalOES and FEMA Representatives, Rosemead Public Works and Public Safety staff that
were involved with the responding and recovery of the January/February 2024 Rainstorm.
