SUBJECT: UPDATE SIGNATORIES ON THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD (PARKING
CITATION) ACCOUNT AT WELLS FARGO BANK
SUMMARY
The City has an account at Wells Fargo Bank that is dedicated to receiving direct
deposits of parking citation penalties from two third-party administrators, JDS and DMV.
With staffing and title changes over the last several months it has become necessary to
update the account's signature cards. Resolution 2008 - 26 authorizes the City
Manager, Assistant City Managers and the Chief Financial Officer as signers on the
Wells Fargo Bank, City of Rosemead (Parking Citation) account and Resolution 2008 -
28 defines City officers for purposes of signing on the City of Rosemead (Parking
Citation) bank account (required by the bank).
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution 2008 - 26 listing the City
Manager, Assistant City Managers and Chief Financial Officer as authorized signatories
on the City's Wells Fargo Bank, City of Rosemead (Parking Citation) account and
Resolution 2008 - 28 which defines City officers.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, THE ASSISTANT CITY
MANAGERS AND THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AS SIGNERS ON THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD ACCOUNT AT WELLS FARGO BANK
WHEREAS, The City of Rosemead, California established a checking account at
Wells Fargo Bank N. A. dedicated to receiving direct deposits of parking citation bail and
transferring said bail to the City's General Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Wells Fargo Bank N. A. account number is 469-2023765 and the
account name is City of Rosemead, and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find that the deposit and withdrawal of
parking citation money in the City of Rosemead account is in the best interests of the City
of Rosemead.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council does hereby
authorize the deposit and withdrawal of City of Rosemead parking citation bail monies in
account number 469-2023765 at Wells Fargo Bank N. A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the following City of Rosemead officers or their
successors in office shall be authorized to order deposit or withdrawal of monies in the
Wells Fargo Bank N. A. City of Rosemead account number 469-2023765:

RESOLUTION No. 2008 - 28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA DESIGNATING
THE CITY MANAGER, THE TWO ASSISTANT CITY MANAGERS AND THE
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AS OFFICERS OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Rosemead contracts with the
City Manager to perform the duties of the chief operating officer of the City and
authorizes him to hire other officers of the City to assist in managing the affairs
of the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has hired two Assistant City Managers to
serve consecutively and a Chief Financial Officer and named them as officers of
the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council does
hereby designate the City Manager, both Assistant City Managers and the Chief
Financial Officer as officers of the City of Rosemead, California with the authority
to make deposits to and withdrawals from the City of Rosemead account,
number 469-2023765, held by Wells Fargo Bank N. A.
