As we plan for the future of Rosemead Go and Go Plus, we are focused on
several key areas.
Rosemead Go Update - Multi-City Services
LONG TERM PARTNERSHIPS
Other CA partners have joined
forces with neighboring cities to
create shared transit services.
Monterey Park is interested in
partnering with Rosemead in the
future!
CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE
With no fast charging
infrastructure in Rosemead, our
vehicles currently charge in San
Gabriel. We’ll soon transition to
newly available chargers in
Rosemead, which will allow for
less downtime during service.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
While the service has been well
used since launch, we have
identified an opportunity to further
grow the service through student
ridership. We specifically plan to
conduct community outreach to
Rosemead schools, including
hosting events and distributing
marketing materials.
SUPPLY CONSTRAINTS
If ridership continues to grow,
we’ll run into supply constraints.
Via’s Grants Team is ready to
assist Rosemead in pursuing
additional funding for the future.
VEHICLE CHANGES
Following feedback around our
Tesla Model 3s’ interior space, we
are exploring fleeting alternatives.
Any questions?
