SUMMARY
The City Council will consider authorizing the attendance of any Council Member and City staff
who wishes to attend the 2026 National League of Cities Congressional City Conference in
Washington, DC from March 14 — March 18, 2026.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance and finance of any Council
Member and City staff that attends the 2026 National League of Cities Congressional City
Conference in Washington, DC from March 14 — 18, 2026.
ANAI.VCIC
The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution
No. 2005-47, requires prior City Council approval for out-of-state travel beyond an adjacent
state. Funding for this purpose is included in the City's annual budget.
